I recently stayed at Fav Inn Town for a few days and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is conveniently located in the city and within walking distance to many attractions. The rooms were well-equipped and clean, with the added bonus of single beds in the shared dorms, which made the space feel more spacious. The beds were comfortable and the staff was welcoming and helpful. I particularly appreciated the self-service breakfast with a variety of options, as well as the free laundry facilities and bikes for rent to explore the city.
Would recommend this hotel.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I loved the privacy curtains on the single beds. the bathrooms and facilities were always clean and well-maintained. I particularly enjoyed the simple breakfast provided, and it was a great bonus to have free bicycles available. the location was perfect - situated in the town square but just a bit south of the center, which made it quieter but still convenient.
The soundproofing could be better, as I found it a bit noisy at times. the beds were quite hard, which may not be to everyone's liking.

Cons: Everything was great! 😊.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city, making it extremely convenient for exploring nearby restaurants, temples, and attractions. The rooms are clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and a beautiful view of the mountains or the nearby temple. The staff is friendly and goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Guests can enjoy a self-service breakfast with a variety of options, as well as access to free bicycles and a kitchen for cooking. There is also a common area with games and plenty of seating.
One downside is that the hotel does not have an elevator, which can be inconvenient for guests with heavy luggage.

Fav Inn Town is one of the cleanest and friendliest hostels I've stayed in while in Thailand. They offer free water, fruit, coffee/tea/hot chocolate, and instant noodles in the lobby, which is awesome. the beds are private, and there's a beautiful view of a temple with mountains in the background. Highly recommended!
Felt fine, no complaints at all.

Our recent stay at a new hostel in Old Town was fantastic. The location was one of the best possible, with many restaurants, temples, and the three kings monument just a short walk away. The rooms were beautifully clean, and we enjoyed a nice view of the mountain from our balcony. The staff was helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The beds were super comfortable, offering good privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. Plus, the value for money was excellent. I highly recommend this hostel for a great experience in Chiang Mai.
While our stay was mostly enjoyable, we did encounter a few minor drawbacks. The lack of an elevator made it difficult to carry heavy luggage up to our room.
